USA EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program

The EB-5 program is a federal immigration program that grants permanent residency (green card) to foreign nationals who invest in U.S.-based businesses, creating jobs and stimulating economic growth.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Invest a minimum of $800,000 (or $1.8 million in high-employment areas) in a new or existing U.S. business
  • Create or preserve at least 10 full-time jobs for qualifying U.S. workers
  • Demonstrate that the investment is “at-risk” (no guarantees)
  • Engage in the business’s management or policy-making

Program Requirements

  • File Form I-526 (Immigrant Petition by Alien Entrepreneur)
  • Obtain approval from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)
  • Apply for a conditional green card (2-year validity)
  • File Form I-829 (Petition by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions) after 2 years
